About Duncan Brake

Prime time Emmy nominated, award winning topside and Underwater Cinematographer that owns and operates a RED EPIC with and GATES UW Housing.

Duncan has travelled, photographed and filmed, extensively throughout the world, from fighting bull elephant seals in the freezing waters of Antarctica to tiger sharks in the crystal blue waters of the Bahamas. A Marine Biology graduate, Duncan combined his passion for film with his love for the ocean.

Through his travels Duncan has worked on a wide range of projects, from crafting BBC Blue Chip Natural History sequences for series such as ‘SHARK’ and ‘ATLANTIC’ through to undertaking Director of Photography positions for the Emmy nominated ‘WHALE WARS’ by Anima Planet. He has a wide range of experience on various formats from 16mm cineflex to Full 5K cameras. He currently owns and operates a RED EPIC in a Gates UW housing.
